Where to stay

There are many accommodation options for Kruger Park visitors. Would you like to stay inside the National Park at one of the official rest camps or at a lodge outside Kruger, for example in a private game reserve? Usually we advise our guests to try both and spend some nights in- and some outside the park.

Inside Kruger, the rest camps offer simple but adequate accommodation in bungalows or Rondavels. Tent sites are available in most camps and some camps also offer stationary “Safari Tents” with real beds and shared bathrooms and communal kitchen. We can provide tents and equipment for you if you prefer the campsite.

Outside the national park standards are very variable; everything from very high end luxury lodges in private game reserves to guest houses to self-catering bush camps or backpacker tented camps is available.
