The Khalanga Safaris Luxury Tented Camp is situated right in the heart of Kruger, in prime game viewing area. We make use of Kruger Park campsites and facilities, adding a whole new level of service and comfort that is unrivaled in the national park. The camp consists of large, walk-in tents with comfortable beds and other amenities that are not commonly associated with a camping experience. Our luxury camping experience combines the best of the National Park with outstanding service and comfort level typically only found in private lodges or game reserves. We will take you on daily private game drives; our chef will prepare delicious meals for you and you can watch animals from the comfort of your own tent.
Inception
Kruger Park is more than a place, it’s a feeling - a tranquility that goes beyond the peace of mind that we feel when being in nature. It’s more than a nature experience and it comes with its own vibe and culture: The entrance gates, the anticipation, the excitement of entering the park, the first animal sighting; the sunrise and the morning coffee. Taking a walk along the camp fence in the evening, for another chance at some more animal sightings before we go to sleep, because we just can’t get enough. You’re right in the middle of it all, in a vast natural space of many diverse habitats and landscapes to explore on the game drives.
This is the experience that we want to keep intact for our guests; while adding lodge level service and comfortable accommodation to the package, which will truly make you feel like you're at home in this African wilderness.
