3 Day Safari with Sunset Drive

Day 1

​

Arrival in Kruger National Park

Your tour starts with an early morning pick up at OR Tambo Airport with a shared, comfortable air conditioned vehicle taking you through 3 South African provinces on a 5-6 hours’ drive to Kruger National Park. Upon arrival at the National Park Gate you will board an Open Safari Vehicle that gives you a 180 degrees panoramic view of the African savannah with a full experience of all smells and sounds, and a perfect vantage point to see over high grasses and bushes. We reach the Rest Camp after our first game drive. After check in your guide will prepare dinner for you, while you settle in at your accommodation for the next 2 nights - an iconic, Kruger style thatched bungalow.

Day 2

​

Full day safari and sunset drive

We get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger Safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee for you and you can have rusks with your drink for a quick snack as we get on our way. We spend the day in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big 5 with a dedicated professional field guide, who will use expert knowledge of the area to interpret the natural environment for you in every detail. Your guide will frequent various waterholes and river systems as well as other Kruger hot spots to maximize your opportunity to see as much as possible and ensure the scenery on display is ever changing and picturesque. We stop for breakfast and return for an early afternoon break, before it's time for you to join the shared Kruger Park led sunset drive, allowing visitors to Kruger National Park to experience this breathtaking natural space before and after sunset, when commercial and private vehicles are required to remain within camp boundaries. After your return you will enjoy a delicious South African BBQ feast ("braai") prepared by your guide.​

Day 3

​

Last game drive and return to Johannesburg

We are ready to check out as soon as we've had a quick breakfast, in search of more animal sightings before it is time to leave the National Park and return to the shuttle departure location. You will be back at OR Tambo Airport at around 5pm, when this adventure ends.

  • 2 night's accommodation at a 3* Kruger Park Bungalow

  • Private game drives with Khalanga Safaris: Afternoon of Day 1, morning and afternoon of Day 2 and morning of Day 3. Ca 7 hours for a full day.
